Being a person who has always respected my environment and not been wasteful, I'm getting tired of being made feel guilty to be alive. Tired of being lectured to, and tired of the hypocritical crap surrounding this 'carbon footprint' issue. I'm at the point when I could scream every time I hear that term.
I'm also tired of being taxed for these 'theories', and see them as bandwagons (i.e. 'green' 'organic') onto which a lot of unscrupulous people are leaping. You see rich people preaching, yet you don't see them walking the walk, but continually making excuses for their excesses. I don't think I've ever seen as much hypocrisy over something for a long time.
"Treat the world as you would be treated" might be a good slogan.
Don't pour your waste on me.
Don't rape me.
Don't steal from me.
And please, cultivate my garden without pouring chemicals on me.
