My aunt, a brilliant, vibrant woman who has helped countless others, who has achieved many things educationally speaking; who once received an Actress of the Year award in Australia, is more than extremely ill.

About twenty-five years ago she had breast cancer and has since been cancer-free although she suffered from nerve damage from the radiation. Now, after all these years, her cancer has returned and with a vengeance.

She has a tumor on her spine. Unfortunately, chemo has done nothing to help but has made her terribly sick. To relieve the pain, the doctors suggested they operate and proposed to remove a vertebra.

An operation that was supposed to take four hours, took twelve. She is still in intensive care in absolute agony. Morphine is only just helping. She is so sick; I can't even imagine what she is going through.

We have never been that close, but I love her and I only wish her to be pain-free.   

I am truly lost for words to even begin explaining the helplessness I feel. I only know that there is power in prayer and so please, all of you, can you just ask that Celia's Aunt Julie may receive God's grace and mercy.  Even if you have no spiritual belief, can you just ask the Universe to *please take away her pain*.
