Full-Service Grandma
Posted 4/11/2008 - Ebie Brown | 6 comment(s)
I mentioned in my first blog that I have a grandson, Konner. I'm terribly afraid that I've become one of those let-me-show-you-his-picture kind of grandmas. In my defense, I waited a long time for a grandkid--after years of telling my kids not to reproduce on my account, a few years ago I began to long for a new little person to spoil. Being true to myself
Posted 4/10/2008 - Joy Collins | 6 comment(s)
I have been working on my second novel and lamenting why it was going so slowly. The first one seemed to fly out of my fingers [or at least that's how I remember it]. This one - not so much.
The heroine this time kept slipping away from me, the characters kept doing their own thing, contrary to my beloved outline. . . . .

Dorothy Sander wrote some things in her blog today about youth and the remembrance of it. It made me think about something that happened to me last week when I was asked to go see the "new and improved" Wal-Mart not far from me. . . . .
